Founded in 1981 by Mr. Ong Beng Huat, BHL traces its roots to Beng Huat Furnishing Contractor Pte Ltd, which began as a manufacturer and supplier of home furniture, serving the local market with a strong focus on product quality and customer satisfaction.

In 2012, the company evolved into Beng Huat Modern Living Furnishing Pte Ltd, focusing on the supply of bedframes to renowned mattress brands and furniture retailers in Singapore.

Through its years in furniture manufacturing and supply, the company developed deep operational expertise in the handling, transportation, and delivery of bulky and high-value items. This hands-on experience revealed a growing demand for reliable, professional, and customer-centric delivery solutions, particularly in the last-mile segment.

Recognising this opportunity, in 2017, the business expanded into delivery and logistics services, building on its strong foundation in operational execution and service excellence. Beng Huat Logistics Pte Ltd (BHL) was established as a dedicated logistics arm to serve this growing need.

Over time, logistics has become a core pillar of the business, supported by continuous investment in processes, manpower, and service capabilities.
